Irene Bernadette Choiniere, 57, of Nampa passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at a local hospital. Irene was born February 12, 1954 in St. Albans, Vermont to Robert Dennis and Pauline R. Lussier Choiniere. She was the oldest female sibling of her family. She grew up on a farm and took care of the animals with help from her brothers and sisters. She attended Champlain College in Burlington, Ver. where she received an associate’s degree in law enforcement. During this time she traveled to Europe to visit France and Switzerland. After college she wanted to start a new life and so she traveled west. She met and married James Ayers and had two sons – Michael and Mark Ayers. They all eventually settled down in Nampa.
One of her favorite things to do was to go to church and play her harmonica. She really did love playing her harmonica. She also played a little bit of guitar. No matter what she did she always wanted the best for her two sons. She will always be remembered in our hearts.
